Children are considered to be under the responsibility of parent in most country while parents have their own way in educating their children. However, traditional family culture in Khmer which we might call the ancient family role, parents thought that they have full authorization to govern their children even including punishment in children rearing.
To comply with International Child Right and Child Labor Law, physical punishment should not be used in children rearing. Absolutely, it will badly be effected to both physical and mental of the child.
Indeed, many children were easy to get wound or losing their abilities due to the punishment in rearing while their physical appearance were still weak and can not resist to the old man beating. By this age, their whole body and bone are in the progress of growing. Other way, the children can record immediately for what was happened, they will keep in mind if they got the fear while they reared by their parents.
Without long-term consideration, using violent in rearing your children is very disadvantages meanwhile your child might hate and revenge due to you were hurt their feeling and fearing, mostly can get a kind of human phobia.
You may lost control your temper when their children did not do anything as you want. Sometime, you may hit them without think about their feeling. In this way, some children were fail to death, and others become wounded or disability. When your children lost ability, it imposed more responsibilities on yourselves as you have to take care and treat your children. It mean that you are destroying a life, a future of generation. Furthermore, some children were low ability to remember, or their flexible were limited. That is also a reason for weakness students. As mentioned, you will get moment achievement, but you fail to power your child in this way to make your child respect and obey you so long.
As stated previously, children are not criminals who need to be punished and trained by using violent while physical punishments are less outcome in educating children. Children can improve their knowledge by obtaining good samples from your deed. Children can practice very well from what they see from people around them more than what they are forced to learn from parents. While you are teaching them by the gentle technical, brightly future of your child can be seen.
